This policy explains how One Blue World collects, uses and looks after your personal information when you use this website or get in touch with us. We keep it simple: we only collect what we need, we never sell your data, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.
One Blue World is operated by One Blue World Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 15445480), registered office 8 Leopold Road, Bristol, BS6 5BS. We are the data controller for the information described here. You can contact us about anything in this policy at hello@oneblue.world.
Information you give us: when you fill in a form on this site or email us, we receive your name, email address and anything else you choose to share, such as your organisation and your message. Technical information: our website host automatically records basic technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, for security and to keep the site running. Cookies: [this site uses only essential cookies / this site uses analytics cookies from (provider); update as appropriate].
We use your information to reply to your enquiry, to discuss projects, partnerships, speaking, media or book requests with you, and to keep this website secure. We will only send you news or updates if you have asked us to, and you can unsubscribe at any time. Our lawful bases are our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, your consent where we ask for it, and taking steps towards a contract where you ask us to work together.
We never sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with trusted service providers who help us run One Blue World, such as our website host and email provider, and only so they can provide that service to us. We may also share information if the law requires it.
We keep enquiries and correspondence for up to [two] years after our last contact with you, unless we are working together, in which case we keep records for as long as needed for that work and our legal obligations. After that, we delete them securely.
Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, to ask for it to be transferred, and to withdraw your consent at any time. To do any of these, email hello@oneblue.world. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
We take sensible steps to protect your information, including a secure (HTTPS) website and limiting access to people who need it. If we ever change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
